DAY 1 – AIRPORT – CHILAW

In Sri Lanka, Arrack is distilled from the fermented sap of coconut flowers. Rockland Distilleries began on a family estate in 1924. A pioneering venture set up to produce high quality Arrack for the first time in Ceylon’s history. For nearly a Century, Rockland Distilleries remains a privately owned family business, maintaining its position as one of the most advanced distilleries in the country. Rockland took steps very early on to reduce its carbon footprint and was the world’s first distillery to obtain Green Certification by LEEDS.

DAY 2 – CHILAW – WILPATTU – ANURADHAPURA
Early in the morning your chauffer will pick you up from the hotel and proceed to Anuradhapura. On the way to Anuradhapura , you will experience a jeep safari in Wilpattu National park Wilpattu National Park, the largest and popular for its sightings of majestic elephants, lithe leopards, spotted deer, sloth bears and gigantic crocodiles. Also bear witness to striking flocks of peacocks, painted storks, jungle fowls as well as mongooses. Arrive in Anuradhapura in the afternoon Check in to Hotel and freshen up Experience a guided visit to royal ancient city of Anuradhapura by a historian Anuradhapura, although limited to picturesque ruins today this sacred city was the epicentre of the country’s civilization during the medieval era. DAY 3 – ANURADHAPURA – POLONNARUWA – PASSIKUDAH
After breakfast your chauffer will pick you up from the hotel and subsequently proceed to Passikudah You are here in Polonnaruwa to Experience a visit to Royal ancient city of Polonnaruwa by a historian Polonnaruwa, enthrals its visitors with a timeless reflection of the country’s glorious history. DAY 5 – PASSIKUDAH – KANDY
This morning you will proceed to Kandy , the hill Country destination in your journey En route visit spice garden in Matale Spice Gardens, located in Matale offer wonderful opportunities to view the spices that stirred the interests of many nations, since time immemorial, in this emerald isle for its
exotic spices, world over.
You will be arrived in Kandy in afternoon En route enjoy a local dancing lesion with a local teacher Kandy, referred as the hill capital, Sri Dalada Maligawa that houses the sacred tooth relic of Buddha remains the prime landmark. Apart from the ancient monuments, the delightful jumble of antique shops and the bustling market are places to visit.
Experience the touch and feel of the “Beraya” (The Drums) and learn to play a beat or two from a senior individual named “Nandasena Aiya” who has a wealth of practice with the historic instrument. Being clad in rather elaborative traditional costume and accessories would certainly mesmerize you
with the colour splash of the local Culture! Ancient sources reveal that drums were used for special occasions from the time of birth until death. Later used for communication, pleasure and rituals, these traditional drums have become an integral part of Buddhist Temples, Processions and Culture in Sri Lanka and especially in Kandy. Today, your chauffer will pick you up after the breakfast and proceed to Ella You will experience a Train safari from Kandy to Ella You will be arrived in Ella in the late afternoon Ella, which translates into ‘waterfall’ is a name fit for this little town located in a hilly nook, owing to its stunning vistas richly adorned with cascades that trickle down its rugged terrains offers some of the most scenic sights in Sri Lanka.

DAY 8 – GALLE– COLOMBO – AIRPORT
Today , your chauffer will be picked up from hotel early in the morning and transfer to Colombo En route Visit stilt fisherman in Koggala / Ahangama Stilt fishermen in Koggala, practice one of Sri Lanka’s most ancient fishing techniques. if you happen to pass the little coastal town of Koggala, you might observe fishermen out in the sea, precariously perched on a wooden stilt sunk deep into the seabed. You will arrive in Colombo in the afternoon En route experience a city tour in Colombo Colombo is Sri Lanka’s commercial capital and major port.
