DAY 1 – MONTECARLO
Arrival in Montecarlo, on a stand-alone hill in the plain of Lucca. Area attractions include the 1555 completed by Cosimo I de Medici Fortress, the Church of S. Andrea from 1700 and the Chapel of St. Anna. Montecarlo also owns the Rassicurati Theather from the early 18th century. Overnight in Montecarlo.
DAY 2 – GREVE IN CHIANTI – SIENA
Arrive in a Castle in Greve in Chianti. The origins of the Castle, date back roughly to 1400, built of solid stone whose focus is the high crenellated tower, preserved manor houses and boundary walls. Wine Tasting of Chianti Classico wine served in the typical cellar located next to vineyards, with panoramic terrace overlooking the valley of Greve.
Reach Siena. The medieval city of Siena is a work of art of the Gothic period. With its winding old town and the narrow, red-brown of high palaces brick of Sienese clay-lined streets, it seems as if the clock of centuries stopped. The historic center on its three hills grouped in the form of a three-star, is famous for its Palazzo Pubblico and its Torre del Mangia (88 meters high). From here you have a wonderful view of the famous beautiful Piazza del Campo. Overnight in Siena.
DAY 3 – MONTERIGGIONI – SAN GIMIGNANO
Visit to the medieval town of Monteriggioni, one of the best preserved medieval city centers in the country, founded in the 13th Century. Situated on a small hill, the medieval town is enclosed by a nearly 600 m long wall. Here you have easy feel to have been transported to another time, because small, pretty houses and narrow streets characterize the city of Monteriggioni. Visit to the medieval town of San Gimignano, one of the most characteristic and charming medieval towns in Tuscany: UNESCO site. San Gimignano is remained unchanged from the end of the 14° Century to the present, ond is one of the most visited places in Tuscany. DAY 4 – MONTALCINO – MONTEPULCIANO
After breakfast drive to Montalcino, in the world famous because of its excellent wine “Brunello”. The town is of Etruscan origin and was for a long time from Florence and Siena contended. Visit to Montepulciano, situated on a high tufa plateau, known for its wine “Vino Nobile of Montepulciano”. Overnight in Siena.
DAY 5 – SIENA – DEPARTURE
Enjoy the last morning in this beautiful city and then departure. End of the Tour.
