Kili Safari

This 5-night road safari operates every Sunday based but can be done on any other day of the week based on an exclusive bus using the supplements indicated.

DAY 01: SUNDAY NAIROBI – AMBOSELI

Met on arrival at the airport and transfer to the Eka Hotel where light refreshments will be served and a safari briefing conducted. Thereafter, drive to Amboseli National Park nestled at the foothills of Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (250 kms, approximately 4hrs drive). You will arrive in time for lunch at Amboseli Sopa Lodge followed by a late afternoon game-drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa or similar (Meals included: Lunch and Dinner) 

DAY 02: MONDAY AMBOSELI 

Full day in Amboseli to enjoy early morning and late afternoon game-drives. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar (Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

DAY 03: TUESDAY AMBOSELI – LAKE NAIVASHA 

After an early breakfast drive to the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha arriving at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge in time for lunch (350 kms, approximately 6.5hrs drive). Rest of the afternoon at leisure or choose from a selection of optional excursions including guided walks with naturalists or boat rides (book and pay locally). Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge or similar (Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) 

DAY 04: WEDNESDAY LAKE NAIVASHA – MASAI MARA 

After an early breakfast drive to the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge (270 km, approximately 5hrs drive). Enjoy a late afternoon game-drive in one of the world’s finest game reserves. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge or similar (Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) 

DAY 05: THURSDAY MAASAI MARA

An early morning balloon safari over the Mara followed by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra) or take an early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Rest of the morning at leisure at the lodge. After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge or similar (Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) 

DAY 06: FRIDAY MAASAI MARA

NAIROBI Return to Nairobi by road (290 – approximately 5 hours), or fly from the Mara to Nairobi: morning flight (prices on request). Refreshments will be served at the Eka Hotel before final transfer to the airport for your outbound international flight or proceed with own chosen extension (Meals included: Breakfast) 

Boat ride on Lake Naivasha: USD 40  per person 

Fly Mara to Nairobi: Adult: USD 280 per person, Child: USD 210 per person (15kg luggage allowance on all light aircraft) 

***Please note clients flying back to Wilson from safari will also be expected to pay for Wilson Airport transfers accordingly.  

Fly Mara to Mombasa (Ukunda): Adult: USD 390 per person, Child: USD 290 per child below 12 years (15kg luggage allowance on all light aircraft)  

Additional Park Fees USD 70.00 per adult / USD 45.00 per child (applicable for afternoon departure from Mara, including Mombasa Air) 

Extra Lunch at Mara Sopa and transfer to the Airstrip: Adult/Child USD 90.00 per person 

Ballooning: Adult/Child: USD 375 per person

• Below 2 years – Free, 02 – 11.99 years – as above if sharing with 2 adults 

Cancellation Policy: 

Before 61 days of arrival No cancellation fee 

Between 60 and 50 days of arrival 15% cancellation fee 

Between 49 and 30 days of arrival 33% cancellation fee 

Between 29 and 0 days of arrival 100% cancellation fee
